Resource
Conservation Manitoba is a non-profit, non-governmental
centre for environmental education and applied sustainability.
Households, workplaces, schools, and communities look to
RCM for practical information on active transportation, composting,
waste reduction and resource conservation. We work with partners
and community networks to identify down-to-earth, everyday
solutions to climate change, traffic congestion, overconsumption
and waste. Further details about RCM's history and principles
are available here. |
We are going to have a new name. Over the summer of 2010, Resource Conservation Manitoba will become the Green Action Centre.
We are excited with our planned new 'look' and new logo. By the fall, you will be seeing a new web site with lively and accessible information to green your home, school, travel, workplace, and community. We will help you take action, find services and resources, and connect with like-minded people in our community.
RCM's successful programs and events will all continue -- Commuter Challenge, Active and Safe Routes to School, Compost Action, Environmental Speakers Bureau, Workplace Commuter Options, Waste Reduction Week and the rest.
Stay tuned. It's time for Green Action. |
